Bangabandhu’s killer Majed kept at condemned cell
Abdul Majed, a sacked army captain and one of the convicted killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has been kept at a condemned cell after he was taken to the jail from the court.

Earlier on Tuesday, Law Minister Anisul Haque said formalities for carrying out the death sentence awarded to Abdul Majed have begun.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka Zulfikar Hayat sent him to the jail after Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit under Dhaka Metropolitan Police produced him before the court.
He was arrested from Mirpur in the capital on Monday midnight.
