Mirza Fakhrul gets bail in blockade case

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been given bail in a case filed over the party’s anti-government road blockade in Dhaka in 2012.

Eighth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Abul Kashem passed the order on Wednesday and set August 28 as the date for hearing the charges in the case filed by police.
