Maasranga TV CEO Fahim dies

Syed Fahim Munaim, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Editor at Maasranga Television, died of cardiac arrest.

He breathed his last at his Gulshan residence around 6:15am on Wednesday.

Son of journalist Syed Nuruddin, Fahim had a long career in news media.  After ‘Daily Sangbad’, ‘Morning Sun’ and UNB, he was managing editor of ‘The Daily Star’.

He joined Maasranga Television as its chief executive officer when it was launched in 2010. 

Fahim, who was to turn 63 in July, is survived by his wife and three sons.
