Daughter meets tragic end on way to see dead father

A devastated daughter by her father's death lost her life too in a fatal road accident in Cumilla's Muradnagar upazila on Tuesday.

Her husband and another person were also killed in the mishap in Korbanpur area on Madhabpur-Daulatpur road this afternoon.

The deceased were couple Saddam Hosain and Parveen Akter, residents of Dolaipar village in Brahmanbaria's Nabinagar upazila, and driver of the private car which fell in the crash Abdur Rahman, hailed from Sonadia village under Kabirhat upazila in Noakhali.

Quoting locals, Bangrabazar Police Station officer in-charge Md Kamruzzaman said a private car plunged into a ditch in Korbanpur area after its driver lost control over steering, leaving three people dead on the spot.

Parveen met her tragic end on road when she was going to father's home after hearing his death news, the OC added citing locals. 

The bodies were sent to Cumilla Medical College Hospital morgue, OC Kamruzzaman also said.
