PRAN-RFL Group prepares isolation unit for corona treatment

PRAN-RFL Group, one of the largest business conglomerate of the country, has prepared an isolation unit at Amjad Khan Chowdhury Memorial Hospital to ensure treatment of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) infected patients. The doctors and nurses of the hospital, situated at Chandpur of Natore Sadar, are ready to give the treatment at round the clock, a press release said. 

Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group, said, “We have already completed all preparation to install the isolation unit. The patient will get the treatment from the hospital free of cost. We have already sent a letter to the Directorate General of Health Services for permission and hope we will get it by this week.”

He also added,“We need to give training and motivation to our doctors and related departments to tackle this crisis. So we need to bring some physicians, nurses and technicians from those countries who are already successful for corona treatment.”

Dr. Rajib ul Islam, Coordinator at Amzad Khan Memorial Hospital, said, “We have prepared the isolation unit in our hospital to tackle the emergency crisis of the coronavirus pandemic. A special medical team comprising of doctors of medicine and other departments are ready to give the treatment. We have trained them for the purpose. Civil Surgeon of the district will supervise the isolation unit. Primarily, we have prepared 20-bed isolation unit. ICU facility will be available for the serious patient. 

He also added,“We will admit patient observing some conditions. Meanwhile, we have arranged all necessary medical equipment for treatment as well as personal safety of doctors and nurses. The isolation unit is installed at an individual building so that other patientscan get proper treatment as usual.”
