5 killed as truck overturns in Tangail

Five people were killed when a cement-laden truck overturned near Kandila area on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Tangail sadar upazila early Saturday.
All the deceased were the workers, said police. Identities of them could not be known immediately.
Mosharraf Hossen, In-charge of Tangail sadar police outpost, said the truck has been recovered from the spot and the bodies have been sent to Tangail General Hospital.
