Malaysia-returnee sent to hospital from HSIA

A Malaysia-returnee who landed at Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday night with high body temperature was sent to a hospital from the airport, reports UNB.

As the body temperature of the Bangladeshi man was found high during the health screening he was sent to the hospital, said sources at Airport health desk.

Earlier on Thursday, two people who returned from Saudi Arabia were directly sent to Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital from the airport after health workers found them with high body temperature.

Besides, seven overseas-returnees were sent to Kuwait-Bangladesh Maitree Hospital from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday as their body temperature was found high during thermal screening.

Bangladesh has confirmed the detection of 17 coronavirus cases and one death, said the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control And Research (IEDCR).
