Bangladeshi infected with coronavirus in Saudi
A Bangladeshi migrant is among 24 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The number of the infected people with the virus stood at 86 in the country, said the Ministry of Health said on Friday.
The ministry has kept secret identity of the Bangladeshi patient.
Earlier, two Bangladeshi nationals catched coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), another Middle East country.
Meanwhile, eight Bangladeshi nationals have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the Spanish capital of Madrid, confirmed Md Fazle Elahi, president of Bhaliante Bangla, a Madrid based Bangladeshi human rights organization.
Besides, five Bangladeshi citizens were infected with the virus in island nation Singapore, and two in Italy, the worst-hist European country by the deadly virus.
According to Worldometer, a website which compiles new case numbers of COVID-19, the virus, so far, claimed 5,436 lives, including 3,189 in mainland China, and infected around 145,634 people worldwide. As many as 72,529 people recovered from the virus.
