Charges framed against Khaled in drug case
A Dhaka court today framed charges against expelled Juba League leader Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act.
Dhaka Third Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Rabiul Alam framed the charges against him in the case.
The court also fixed April 1 for recording statements of the witnesses of the case.
Jewel Ahmed, bench clerk of the court confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Earlier on February 10, Judge KM Imrul Kayes of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court took cognisance of charges against Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan and fixed March 26 for hearing on charge-framing in the case.
On September 18 last year, Rapid Action Battalion arrested Khaled Mahmud for operating a casino.
