2 killed as bus hits covered van in Cumilla

Two people were killed and ten others injured as a bus hit a covered van at Chouddagram Upazila in Cumilla early Saturday.
The deceased were identified as covered van driver Abdul Kader and bus supervisor Md Rasel.
According to police, a bus of Ena Paribahan hit a covered van from behind when the van lost control and climbed onto a road-divider on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Joggonnathdighi area. At that time, two people died on the spot and 10 others suffered injury.
Miar Bazar highway police outpost In-charge Abul Kalam Azad said the bodies were sent to Cumilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
