3 killed in truck-covered van collision in Ctg

Three people were killed in a collision between a truck and a covered van in Chattogram early Wednesday.
The incident took place on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Dakkhin Banshbaria area in Sitakunda upazila.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Chattogram divisional fire service acting director Azizul Islam confirmed the deaths to Jago News.
Azizul said: “The incident took place when the two vehicles were overtaking each other in the area. Members of fire service removed the vehicles from the road and the bodies were handed over to Kumira Highway Police.”
