HSC examinee among 3 killed in Bagura road crash

Three people including a HSC examinee were killed in separate road accidents in Bagura on Monday. 

The deceased were identified as Hanjela, 24, son of Rafiqul, of village Sahapur in Shibganj upazila, Rony, 18, a HSC examinee, son of Khairul, of village Muradpur and Robin, 24, son of Ashekpur union under Shahjahanpur upazila. 

Sanaton Sarker, In-charge of Mokamtola Police Outpost, said Hanjela and Rony were killed when a stone-laden truck collided head-on with a motorbike carrying them around 12pm.   

Nazim Uddin, officer-in-charge of Shahjahanpur Police Station, said Robin was killed when a sand-laden truck hit a motorbike carrying him at Kamarpara village around 11am. 

Local people seized the truck but the driver and helper managed to flee away, Nizam added.
