Voting underway at 9 municipalities

Voting has begun at nine municipalities at 8am on Wednesday which will continue till 4pm.
The municipalities are Ghorashal of Narsingdi, Laximpur sadar, Noakhali sadar, Chhagalnaiya of Feni, Teknaf of Cox’s Bazaar and Ramgarh of Khagrachari.
A total of 21 candidates contested in party line as mayor post while five as independently, 315 as general member and 70 as reserved.
This year 3 lakh 13 thousand and 691 people will take part in voting in 133 polling centres.
