BUET VC Khaleda dies at 66

The Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Khaleda Ekram was died at a hospital in Bangkok of Thailand around 2:05am Tuesday.

She was 66. Khaleda was the first female Vice Chancellor of BUET.

She was appointed as the vice-chancellor of the university in September, 2014.

Meanwhile, President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed their deep shocks at the death of Khaleda Ekram.
