Tureen Afroz removed from ICT prosecutor post

Barrister Tureen Afroz has been removed from the prosecutor post of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) for professional misconduct and breaching discipline and code of conduct.
Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a notice on Monday.
On May 9 last year, Tureen Afroz was relieved of all activities of the tribunal.
ICT prosecution branch sent two letters signed by Chief Prosecutor Golf Arif Tipu to the Law Ministry.
Earlier in 2014, Prosecutor AKM Saiful Islam was removed from the prosecution team on the same charges.
