Legal notice asks DU to remove Rabbany from DUCSU

A legal notice has been served to the authorities of Dhaka University seeking removal of Golam Rabbany from the post of General Secretary of DUCSU.

On behalf of Rashed Khan, General Secretary contestant in this year’s DUCSU polls, Supreme Court lawyer Hasnat Kaiyum sent the letter by post.

The notice also asked the DU authorities to scrap MPhil admission of Golam Rabbany. 

Supreme Court lawyer Hasnat Kaiyum said they will take legal action if the DU authorities didn’t scrape the studentship of Rabbany and remove him from the DUCSU post by seven days. 

To be noted, Golam Rabbany resigned from the post of general secretary of BCL over various allegations including extortion.
