Bangladeshi gunned down by BSF in Tentulia

A Bangladeshi youth has been shot dead by the members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Sarialjot Kankata bordering area in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh on Monday.

The deceased was Md. Sujan, 22, son of Sanaullah of the area.

Quoting witnesses, Panchagarh BGB-18 battalion commander Al Hakim said the BSF members of Lichugach camp opened fire on Sujon while he was cutting grass near main pillar no 438 of the bordering area, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to Tentulia Health Complex where doctors declared him dead.
