Abrar’s brother leaves Dhaka College

Abrar Faiyaz, younger brother of BUET student Abrar Fahad, who was beaten to death by BCL leaders, does not want to stay in Dhaka anymore after his brother’s death and wants to study in Kushtia.

He along with his relatives went to Dhaka College at 1pm on Tuesday and took a transfer certificate.

Faiyaz, a student of class eleven, will take admission in Kushtia Government College which is located in his hometown.

In this connection, Dhaka College principal Professor Nehal Ahmed said: “The decision of leaving Dhaka College is a family matter. I assured him of maximum security.”

Abrar Fahad, a second year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of BUET, was beaten to death by BCL leaders inside the university’s Sher-e-Bangla Hall in the early hours of October 7.

Abrar’s father filed a murder case against 19 people at Chawkbazar police station on the day of the murder.
