Shab-e-Barat observed with religious zeal

Shab-e-Barat was observed all over the country on Sunday with religious fervour.   

Faithful offered special prayers in the mosques throughout the night to seek blessings of the Almighty Allah and forgiveness for their sins.   

Shab-e-Barat prayer congregations held in small and major mosques throughout country. 

Media, including online, print and electronic highlighted the importance of the holy night through its special program and editions.

Shab-e-Baraat, the night of praise of Allah, is observed 15 days before the start of the Holy month of fasting Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.

Shab-e-Barat, a great advantage of Muslims is known as Laylat-ul- Bara’ah or Laylat-un-Nisfe min Sha’ban in the Arab world.
