Munshiganj truck-pickup van collision kills 3

At least three people were killed and fourteen others injured in a head on collision between truck and pickup van.

The incident took place on Dhaka-Mawa highway at Nimtola area under Sirajdikhan Upazila in Munshiganj at 4am on Monday.

The dead men are Shuva, 18, Rafiq, 17 and Rohit, 18. They are undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Officer-in-charge of Sirajdikhan Police Station Yeardus Hasan said, a Dhaka bound pickup van from Mawa collided with Truck when it coming from the opposition.

‘At that time three people among of seventeen were suffered serious injury. Later they were admitted to DMCH where the duty doctor declared them dead, he added.
