Mohammedan Sporting Club director Lokman held

Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan, Director (in-charge) of Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd was detained by the members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) from his Manipuripara residence in city’s Tejgaon area early Thursday, reports UNB. 

A team of Rab-2 conducted a drive at his residence and arrested him around 12 am, said Commanding officer of Rab-2 Lieutenant Colonel Asif Billah.

The elite force members also recovered unspecified quantity of liquor from the house.

Rab also detained three other people from the house for interrogation.

Rab conducted the drive following recovery of casino board, cards, gambling boards and liquor from Mohamedan Sporting Club Ltd in city’s Motijheel area on September 22.
