Dengue claims another life in Khulna

A man died of dengue at Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) on Sunday morning, reports UNB.
The victim was identified as Ashiquzzaman, 37, resident of Magura’s Shalikha upazila.
KMCH Dr Shailendranath Biswas said Ashiquzzaman was admitted to the hospital’s dengue ward in the morning.
“He died around 11am,” the doctor said.
Since January, dengue has reportedly claimed 18 lives in the district. This year, 1,020 people were hospitalised with the mosquito-borne disease in Khulna.
