Housewife dies of dengue in Satkhira

Another woman named Dolena Khatun (40) died of dengue in Satkhira. The woman died while undergoing treatment at Satkhira Sadar Hospital on Friday morning.

Dolena Khatun is the wife of Mosharraf Hossain of Chhagharia village of Zaudanga union of Satkhira Sadar upazila.

Local UP member Sharifuzzaman said Dolena was diagnosed with dengue fever a week ago. She was getting treatment at home. Dolena Khatun was admitted to Satkhira Sadar Hospital on Thursday afternoon as her condition went on critical. She died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

However, Satkhira Civil Surgeon, Abu Shaheen told Jago News, "I do not know if the housewife Dolena Khatun died of dengue attack. But I'm looking."

It is to be noted that before the dengue attack, housemates Jahanara Begum (35) of Satkhira Sadar's Sadhgharia area and Madrasa student Alamgir Gazi (14), son of Sirajul Gazi village of Shrikla village of Kaliganj upazila died in Khulna.
