A joint team of Army and police arrested a man from Khoyaitupara area in Rajasthali upazila on Thursday as he was allegedly involved with the killing of an Army man on August 18, reports UNB.

The arrestee was identified as Kaiching Marma, member of Marma ethnic community.

Acting on a tip off, the law enforcers Kaiching from a remote place of the Majherpara village and handed him over to the Rajasthali Police Station in the morning, said Officer-in-Charge of Rajasthali Police Station Mafazal Ahmmed Khan.

Nasim Ahmed, 19, a soldier of Bangladesh Army, was killed while a group of terrorists opened fire on an army patrol team at Poitupara in Rajasthali upazila on August 18.
