3 killed in Dinajpur road accident

Three people were killed and three others injured in a road accident at Bajitpur area in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur on Tuesday night.

The deceased were identified as Farhad Hossen, 35, son of Abedur Rahman, of Daulotpur village in Chirirbandar upazila, Antor, 32, son of Rukunuzzuman of the same village and Ashik, 28, an employee of Phulbari Eshan Agro Food Limited. 

Locals said, three people died on the spot and three others were injured when three motorcycles carrying six people hit a standing truck from behind in the area around 10pm. The injured people were sent to M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital.

Bodies of the deceased were kept at upazila health complex, said Fakhrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Fulbari Police Station.
