ACC arrests Pabna sub-registrar

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday arrested  Md. Ibrahim  Ali, a sub-register of Pabna, for accumulating wealth illegally, UNB reports.

ACC spokesman Pranab Kumer Bhattacharya told UNB that the accused acquired TK 2.38 crore through illegal means.

Sheikh Golam Maowla, an assistant director of ACC, filed a case against him with the city's Darussalm Police station on October 15, 2018.

The court ordered croaking and freezing of his all assets in March this year.

The accused was handed over to the senior special judge court.
