War crimes verdict against Rajshahi man Tuesday

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has fixed Tuesday to announce the verdict against Abdus Samad alias Feroz Kha alias Musa for his alleged involvement in crimes against humanity during the Liberation War.
A three-member panel of the ICT, headed by Justice Md Shahinur Islam, fixed the date on Monday.
Earlier on July 8, the tribunal kept the verdict awaiting.
A total of 15 prosecution witnesses testified in the case while the defence could not produce any witness to vouch for the innocence of the accused.
The tribunal indicted Musa, from Puthia of Rajshahi, on September 9, 2018.
He had been shown arrested in the case on January 4, 2017.
