Homeopathy doctor hacked to death

Unidentified miscreants hacked a homeopathy doctor to death and injured a teacher of Islami University (IU) in Kushtia at 10am on Friday.

The dead man is Sanwar Rahman and injured man is Saifuzzaman, Assistant Professor of Bengali department of IU.

Saifuzzaman was admitted to Kushtia Sadar Hospital in critical condition and later shifted to Dhaka for better treatment.

According to witness, Sanwar and Saifuzzaman were going to Kushtia town by motorcycle. Unidentified miscreants intercepted them when they were reached Shishir Math area of Kushtia. At one stage they hacked them and Sanwar died on the spot and Saifuzzaman suffered critical injury.
