Minor boy slaughtered over land dispute
A two-year-old boy was slaughtered over a land dispute at Dalarkandi village in Austagram upazila on Saturday morning, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Wasim, son of Abdul Wadud of the village.
As a sequel to a land dispute, Abdur Razzak along with his sons carried out an attack on the house of Abdul Wadud and killed his minor boy around 8:30am as they found no one else in the house, said SM Azizul Haque, ASP of Austagram police circle.
Soon after the incident, police arrested Razzak, Alkas Mia, Saiful, Srijon and Kawsar for their alleged involvement in the killing, the ASP added.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
