Tk 1.7 lakh snatched from Magura businessman

Muggers snatched Tk 1.7 lakh from a businessman here at Hashimpur in Shalikha upazila on Monday night.
Babul Mondol said a group of four to five snatchers stabbed him with sharp weapons and took away the money near Hasimpur graveyard while he was returning home around 10pm.
Mamun Hossain Biswas, inspector (investigation), Shalikha police station, said locals recovered injured Babul and admitted him to Magura Hospital.
A case has been filed, he added.
