Shyamoli bus crushes an auto-rickshaw injuring 6

There were six people hospitalized after a bus owned by Shyamoli Paribahan hit and crushed a standing CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Mandari bazar area on highway in Lakshmipur sadar upazila on Sunday.

The injured people are auto-rickshaw driver Md Roni, son of Kala Munshi from Botali village of the upazila, Fatema Begum, wife of Obaydul Haque from the same area, Aktar Hossen, son of Oli Ullah from Ratonerkhil village and another 3 including Md Parvez.

Police and locals said, a passenger bus of Shyamoli Paribahan crushed the auto-rickshaw around 11am coming from Chattogram. While the bus arrived at the Mandari bazar area, its driver lost control over the bus and hit some CNG-run auto-rickshaws before crushed. An auto-rickshaw was damaged and six people including a driver were injured who were sent to nearby Green Life Medical Center immediately.

The officer-in-charge of Chardraganj police station Md Shahjahan Khan said, the bus was sized.
