US Embassy to remain closed Monday, Tuesday

The US Embassy in Dhaka, including its consular section, will remain closed on Monday and Tuesday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

The American Center along with the Archer K Blood American Center Library and the EducationUSA Student Advising Center will also remain shut.

Emergency services for American citizens will, however, remain available, the embassy said on Sunday.

Eid-ul-Azha, second largest religious festival of Muslims, will be celebrated in Bangladesh on Monday.
