Seminar on Dengue, Chikungunya held at UODA

A seminar titled “Effective Herbal Medicines against Dengue and Chikungunya” was held at the University of Development Alternative (UODA) Auditorium on Sunday. 

Professor Dr. Mohammed Rahmatullah, Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences was the key note speaker. 

Professor Dr. AHM Zulfiquar Ali, Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka and Professor Dr. Mohammad Zashim Uddin, Department of Botany, University of Dhaka discussed various aspects of the keynote speech. 

The seminar was presided over by Professor Dr. Rownak Jahan, Chairperson, Departments of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering and Molecular Medicine & Bioinformatics. Professor Mujib Khan, President of UODA was the Chief Guest. 

Professor Dr. Iffat Chowdhury, Registrar and secretary, Mr. Munir Ahmed of UODA were also present in the seminar. The seminar was attended by teachers, students and administrative personnel of the University.
