Rifat murder: Minni files bail petition with HC

Aysha Siddika Minni has filed a bail petition with the High Court (HC) in a case filed over the murder of his husband Rifat Sharif. 

Senior lawyer advocate Z I Khan Panna on behalf of her filed the petition with the concerned department of the HC on Monday. 

Confirming the matter to Jago News, Panna said a hearing on the petition will held at the bench of Justice Sheikh Md Jakir Hossain and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman today. 

Earlier, a Barguna court in two times denied bail petitions filed by Minni in the case.

Minni was taken by police to interrogate and she was arrested later on 16 July. 

To be noted, Rifat was killed in a broad daylight attack in front of Barguna Government College on June 26 as Minni appeared to be trying to protect her husband.
