Man beaten to death in Ctg for stealing mobile phone

A person has been beaten to death by some people for allegedly stealing a mobile phone at Shitalpur Chowdhuryghat area under Sitakunda upazial in Chittagong around 1am on Wednesday.

The dead man is Abdul Malek, 35, son of Siddique Patwary, hailed from Hajiganj of Chandpur.

Iftekhar Hasan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sitakunda Police Station said police recovered the Body of the deceased from a factory in the area.
