Jago News and PRAN-RFL stand beside flood hit people
The floods are wiping out the eastern and northern parts around the country stranding the people for foods and cloths as the monsoon rains battered the areas fatally.
To support the stranding people “Jagonews24.com” the leading online news portal in Bangladesh has come forward with the help of the industry giant PRAN-RFL group as well as the previous years.
Briefing about the preparedness for aids to the battered people Mohiudding Sarkar, Acting Editor of the Jagonews24.com said, the people from the northern part of our country suffering much as the flood damaged their last shelters and assets.
“We want to stand beside the flood hit people as well as the previous year to distribute aids worth of tk 25 lakh among the victims. The aids are consisting foods, medicines and water including rice, dal, fried-rice, biscuits and oral saline”, he added.
A four-day bound aid project kicks off from Friday (26 July, 2019) from Teesta Barrage area in Lalmonirhat district that would be continued through Nilphamari, Kurigram, Gaibandha and Sirajganj respectively.
To run the aid project, a committee has been formed heading the Acting Editor Mohiuddin Sarkar which is comprised with Jiaul Haque, Assistant General Manager of PRAN-RFL group, Mahabur Alam Sohag, Assistant News Editor of Jago News, Web In-charge Hasibul Hasan Ashik, Staff Reporter Abu Saleh Sayadat, Accountant Faisal Khan and Staff Photographer Mahbub Alam.
