Teacher humiliated at Narayanganj, protested at SUST

A group of students of Shahjalal University of Science Technology (SUST) on Tuesday formed a human chain on the campus in protest of humiliating a school teacher.

Local lawmaker humiliated a school teacher accusing him of hurting religious sentiments in presence of huge people on Friday.

The agitation program was started in front of the central library building of SUST at 11am. At that time the students stood up side by side holding their ears in protest of the incident.

An agitator Jahangir Alam Noman told it is very unfortunate incident that a school teacher humiliated by the law maker.

We arranged this program to support the teachers and express our concern, he added.
