Bus kills JCD leader in four days of marriage

A Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader was killed as a bus hit the motorcycle when he was riding at Bypass area of the district’s Mirsarai upazila on Monday night, four days after he got married.

The dead man is Mosharrof Hossain, 24.

Confirming the matter, Farid Uddin, In Charge of Jorarganj Highway Police Outpost of Mirsarai said the incident took place on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Mithachora bypass area at 12pm on Tuesday.

He said, a bus hit the motorcycle Mosharrof riding, leaving him critically injured. Locals rushed him to a local private hospital where attending doctors declared him dead.

Being informed police rushed to the spot but the relatives of dead man took his body to their home, he added.
