2 youths jailed over stalking schoolgirls

A mobile court sentenced a youth to one year’s imprisonment and another to six months’ imprisonment at Doulatdiyar area in Chuadanga on Sunday afternoon over stalking schoolgirls.

The convicted young men were- Kajol Hossain, in his eighteen, and Ariful Islam Arif, in his nineteen, both hailed from Chitla village of Doulatdiyar area.

Locals said a group of youths used to eve-tease several schoolgirls on their way in front of BADC Farm in the area.

By the help of locals police arrested two of them.

Later, executive magistrate and Chuadanga sadar assistant land Officer Maruful Alam, passed the punishment order to the duo.
