Gas price increased

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has decided to increase gas price for all users from July 1.
The price of the single burner will rise to Tk 925 per month from Tk 750 while the price of the double burner will rise to Tk 975 from Tk 800.
Monoar Islam, chairman of the BERC, revealed the information at a press conference held at its office in the capital’s Karwan Bazar on Sunday.
The gas price will be increased by 32.8 percent, he said.
