Sharing sessions with population experts on May 17

The high level delegates from Sahel countries visiting Bangladesh will share their experiences in an event on May 17 at Hotel Lakeshore in the capital’s Gulshan.

A high level delegate from Sahel countries is visiting Bangladesh from 14-20 May 2016.

During the visit, they are attending knowledge sharing sessions with population and reproductive health experts in Bangladesh.

They have also met with Health Minister and State Minister of Bangladesh, and other high delegates.

The participants includes Ministers and Directors from Ministries of Population, Religious Affairs, Health, Planning, Education and Women’s Empowerment sectors, from Mali, Niger, Mauritania, Cote D’Ivoire, and Chad.

On behalf of the team United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has organized a press conference on 17 May.

Argentina Matavel Piccin, UNFPA Country Representative will also join the press conference.
