Banani fire: Injured firefighter Sohel dies

Firefighter Sohel Rana, who sustained severe injuries during Banani FR Tower fire rescue operation, died in the wee hours of Monday.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital at 2:17 am (Bangladesh local time).
Shahjahan, officer-in-charge (media) of fire service, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Sohel, who was undergoing treatment in critical condition at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), was taken to Singapore for better treatment on Friday.
Sohel Rana of Kurmitola Fire Service and Civil Defence, sustained serious injuries on March 28 while rescuing people from the FR Tower fire that claimed 26 lives and left many injured.
