Manikganj road crash kills 3

At least three people including one woman have been killed and thirty others were injured when a speeding passenger bus hit a tree after losing control on it.

The incident took place on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Manra area in Manikganj early Wednesday.

The deceased man are Anju, 32, wife of Voboronjon, hailed from Srinagar Upazila of Munshiganj, Nazrul Islam, 40, son of Abdul Gani Hawlader, hailed from Gouronadi Upazila of Barishal and Sumon Bepari, 28, son of late Siddikur Rahman Bepari.

The injured men were admitted to Manikganj Sadar Hospital.

Confirming the matter Sub Inspector of Golra Highway Police Md. Enamul told Jagonews24.com that the bus drive managed to flee away after the incident.
