3 to die for killing 1 in N’ganj

A court in Narayanganj has sentenced three people to death in a case filed for killing one in Narayanganj.
Judge Razia Sultana of Narayanganj Additional District and Sessions Judge 2, passed the order on Wednesday at 12 pm.
The death-row convicts are Rafiq, Habib and Sharif Miah. Of them, Sharif is on run.
Additional Public Prosecutor Fazlur Rahman said three convicts indiscriminately hacked one named Liton Miah to death at an abandoned house after calling him from his house in front of Nitaiganj temple on December 1, 2010.
On December 2, Liton’s younger brother Siraj Miah filed a case with Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station against them.
