Nation observing one-day state mourning
The nation is observing one-day state mourning on Monday in memory of the victims of the devastating Chawkbazar fire in the capital.
On the occasion, all government, semi-government, autonomous and private institutions and establishments and Bangladesh missions abroad are hoisting national flag half-mast.
To be noted, at least 67 people were killed and hundred others injured in a deadly fire that broke out at the chemical warehouse-prone Chawkbazar area in Old Dhaka on Wednesday night.
