The government has formed a 15-member committee led by the president of Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation Shahjahan Khan to bring the discipline on the road across the country.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister and also the Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader revealed the information at a press conference after a meeting of road safety council held at BRTA Bhaban at Banani in the capital on Sunday. 

Besides, a three member committee was also formed to implement road safety act. Law Minister Advocate Anisul Haq, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and Rail Minister Nurul Islam Sujon are in the committee, Quader said.
