EC declares all 49 aspirants for reserved seats elected
The Election Commission (EC) on Sunday declared all the 49 aspirants to the parliamentary reserved seats for women elected as they are the only candidates from their respective areas.
EC’s Joint Secretary and also the Returning Officer Abu Kashem formally announced the names at its media centre at Agargaon in the capital on Sunday.
“A letter has been sent to EC Secretary to publish a gazette notification in this regard. The gazette might be published on Sunday or Monday,” the Returning Officer said.
Here is the names of 49 elected aspirants:
