3 killed in microbus gas cylinder explosion

Three passengers were killed and two others injured in a microbus gas cylinder explosion on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Nizampur college area of Mirsarai upazila in Chattogram on Tuesday morning.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The injured - Russel, 10 and Rony, 12, were taken to Mostan Nagar Hospital.
Local people said, the explosion took place when a microbus hit a covered van from behind in the area 7:15 am. As a fire broke out in the microbus, two passengers jumped out of the car and three others were burnt to death.
“On information, a team of Kumira Fire Service Station rushed to the spot and doused the fire,” said Jasim Uddin, Assistant Director of Chattogram Fire Service.
