No compromise over dullness in activities: ACC secretary
The newly appointed Secretary of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Muhammad Delowar Bakhat today said no tolerance will be shown to anybody for working at slow speed as the commission is committed to complete its works within stipulated time, reports BSS.
“We are committed to speed up ACC activities gradually. It is a must to dispose of the complaints received by it at the given time. But, there will be no compromise with quality of works. Dullness in anyone’s activities to this respect will not be tolerated anymore,” he said at a view exchange meeting with ACC staffs.
“The rate of disposal of the cases and investigation will be increased as all the ACC officers and employees will do their works with honesty and hurriedly, the activities of the commission will definitely get pace,” he opined.
“There is no option to stop corruption to consolidate our position on the highway of development and corruption is behind in every sorts of system loss which we should prevent collectively,” he continued.
“ACC officials and employees should not engage themselves in corruption as they are legally responsible to stop corruption. No corrupts within the commission will be spared,” he warned.
Director General (admin) Muhammad Munir Chowdhury presided over the function which was attended by different level of officers and employees of the ACC.
