Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza on Tuesday joined the first session of the 11th national parliament for the first time after being elected as an MP from Narail 2 constituency in December 30 parliamentary polls.

He along with Bangladesh Cricket Board President (BCB) Nazmul Hasan Papon, who is also an MP, entered the parliament at 5pm, and they left the house during Maghrib prayer interval.

Earlier, today’s session started at 4pm with speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.

The first session of the 11th parliament began on January 30.
